From cocktails in Santa mugs to a Bo Ling Chop Suey Palace, Atlanta’s holiday pop ups are on their A game this year! Pop up goers can expect to see some pop-ups that have been around for years and some that are new this season. Put on your best ugly holiday sweater, blare “All I Want for Christmas is You” and let’s dive into my favorite holiday pop ups happening in Atlanta!
1. The Two Miracle Bars
Coming back to Atlanta for another year of over-the-top holiday decor and cocktails, both Miracle on Monroe and Miracle on Highland are great spots to get your Christmas cheer on. Can’t decide between all of the festive cocktails? I recommend the Bad Santa, SanTaRex and Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r ones! Also, the Miracle Bars can have a long wait. If you are at Miracle on Highland, put your name in and then grab a quick bite to eat at one of the close by restaurants.
2. The Blitzen Room at Biltong Bar
Want to get your Christmas nostalgic on while drinking a spiked hot coco? Biltong Bar at Ponce City Market is where you need to go! With swanky, vintage Christmas décor – you’ll feel like you’re visiting home. The Famous Egg Nog and the Chartreuse Hot Coco are a must while you are here!
3. Sippin Santa
While Sippin Santa is part of the Miracle Bar Family, it steps out of the normal Christmas bar pop up look and feel and transports you to a tropical adventure. Taking over Bon Ton, this holiday pop up is serving up tiki style cocktails and one that even comes with a tropical Santa cup. I highly suggest ordering the Sippin Santa while you are there!
4. Bo Ling Chop Suey Palace
Who wants to hear about a holiday pop up that’s focused around Chinese food? Hampton + Hudson is making all of my dreams come true with their Bo Ling Chop Suey Palace Pop-Up. Filled with Chinese dishes and Bo Ling cocktails, this pop up is one you need to check out. It’ll be happening now through December 23rd from 6-11 pm and then again on Christmas Day!
5. SOS Tiki Bar
This Decatur gem will always be one of my favorite places to go over the holidays. SOS Tiki Bar really channels the Mele Kalikimaka theme during its holiday pop up. You can expect plenty of tiki-based holiday cocktails, Christmas tunes blaring and many people in ugly Christmas sweaters.
Atlanta has many other holiday pop ups to offer, but the 5 above are definitely ones I would highly recommend visiting! Who is ready to bring out their ugly Christmas sweaters and go check them out!?
