A Foodie’s Guide to The Marietta Square Market

A Foodie’s Guide to The Marietta Square Market

If you have been hiding under a rock, then you might not know that Marietta just got a brand new food hall that has a striking resemblance to ATL’s Krog Street Market. With 16 food merchants, there is something for everyone at the Marietta Square Market! I had a chance to go and tour the food hall with my friends from the  Visit Marietta team, and I honestly was blown away with how cool it is. I’ll dive into a couple options and what to order, but I’ll also include the full list of all the food merchants so you can see all the great options that are available. Let’s dive on in:

1.    Craving a taco and a good margarita? Have no fear! Street Taco is here to save the day. They are a sit-down restaurant serving up tacos, burritos and amazing queso + guac. Not to mention, their full service bar cranks out unique margaritas like their Gooey margarita that has Pop Rocks on the rim.

2.  A wood-fired pizza more up your alley? FornoVero has an Italian menu that will fix that. I ordered the Bianca pizza and I will 100000000% go back just to order it again. This white pizza is topped with ricotta, bufala and pecorino.

3.  Only stopping in for a sweet treat? Four Fat Cows is the place you need to visit. They offer more than 25 house made flavors of ice cream that will make difficult on which to pick just one to try! They also have gluten-free options, as well as several egg and dairy-free options.

4.  If you want to raise your sushi in the air like you just don’t care, you must stop at Shai-Karr Eatery. As someone who grew up going to Thaicoon & Sushi bar in the heart of Marietta Square – it’s nice to see them open a similar concept for the Marietta Square Market. This spot is serving up a variety of sushi, curries, noodles soups, salads and starters.

5.  Finally, if you need a caffeine pit stop to get you through your foodie tour of the market, Bread and Butter is a good place to make a pit stop. They not only have a full menu of coffee drinks that are made with their house-roasted beans, BUT they also have pastries, cakes, piece and biscuits.

Sound like you have to go check this Market out for yourself? GOOD. JUST REMEMBER: Marietta Square parking can be a pain if you decide to go on a Saturday, so PRO TIP: look for parking that’s a little bit of a walk away. The Market is open Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
